On 10-29-09 Adam Winstrom got 9.3 lb 29 inch steelhead at high banks on
Big Manistee River using spawn bag. He had to slide down high bank to get
fish, there was no where to beach it and no net men to help. Winstrom youth
was trying to keep winning streak going with the son of Jim 6 time winners
and the 3rd generation of family fishermen. Jim said he did get the
big one but he was tired of seeing himself age as a winner, time for youth
to step in.
