10 yr. old Jacob from Sanford got this 7.3 lb 27 in. steelhead on 4-3-11
at Tippy Dam boat ramp using a white fly. Jacob 1st fishing trip up north
with Grandpa. It took him 45 minutes with 7 reel outs to finally bring
it in. Just as Grandpa reached for the fish it jumped from net to bite
him in hand it drew blood. So grandpa's friend had to unhook it and give
to the boy. This new young angler braved thunder/snow (see snow on fish)
& cold for his 1st lone prize fish ever hooked and landed. Along with
the great memories of 1st big fish, 1st trip with grandpa and the fish
tail of how grandpa was biten by his big steelhead priceless... Come make
